L’Espace to again listen to Le Cat Trong Ly arguing for her case
Renowned singer Le Cat Trong Ly, whose talent is revered among a niche of Vietnamese youth, is coming back to Hanoi with the hope of again selling out her show.
Renowned singer Le Cat Trong Ly, whose talent is celebrated among a niche of Vietnamese youth, is set to return to Hanoi with the hope of once again captivating a sold-out audience.
L’Espace has invited the singer back for another round of performances following her two overwhelmingly successful shows last year. This time, Ly Le and her new band are scheduled to perform for three consecutive nights, from October 20th to 22nd, 2025, at the same 24 Trang Tien venue that has garnered her enthusiastic applause since 2010.
Ly, whose signature style of singing while accompanying herself on guitar is one of the most recognizable in Vietnam’s contemporary music scene, has been dubbed “the people’s new sensation.” Her unique, laid-back, soulful voice, combined with seemingly playful yet compelling lyrics and an appearance reminiscent of a friendly neighbor, has endeared her to critics and young listeners alike. She writes her own songs and draws inspiration from influences of pre-1940 French colonial music, which resonates with older generations as well.
To experience the captivating charm of Vietnam's offbeat music sensation, head to L’Espace Hanoi at 24 Trang Tien after October 10th. Tickets are priced at 500,000 VND, with a discounted rate of 300,000 VND available for students.
