Cuisine Festival of Central province’s food to be held in Hue City
Information from Hue City reports that Cuisine Festival in central region is projected to be organized at Hue Sports Centre from June 28 to July 1 in response to the National Tourism Year of the North - Central - Hue 2012.
Information from Hue City indicates that the Cuisine Festival in the central region is scheduled to take place at the Hue Sports Centre from June 28 to July 1, 2025. This festival is a collaborative event involving various prominent tourism organizations in Hue City and across Vietnam, including the Vietnam National Administration of Tourism, the Vietnam Hotel Association, and the Thua Thien Hue Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism.
This year, the event will feature 60 booths showcasing culinary delights from several cities and provinces in the central region, along with offerings from other areas across Vietnam, such as the Northwest, Mekong Delta, and Central Highlands. These booths will display specialty dishes representative of different regions, as well as share innovative cooking techniques and secret recipes.
The central provinces of Vietnam boast a rich culinary culture, offering thousands of delicious and aromatic dishes. Known for their coastal geography, the region is celebrated for its fresh seafood, distinctive fish sauces, and unique seafood-based beverages.
The National Tourism Year 2025 emphasizes the tourism industry in the North Central Coastal provinces, with a particular focus on Hue City and its surrounding areas.
Hue promotes tourism via an attractive logo design contest
The Provincial Department of Tourism in Thua Thien Hue has recently launched the logo design contest called “Hue – Culinary Capital” to introduce and promote Hue’s gastronomy more attractively and effectively.
