Christoph Poppen to conduct Vietnam Young Philharmonic Orchestra

A concert performed by Young Philharmonic Orchestra – Vietnam National Academy of Music, conducted by Christoph Poppen will take place at Hanoi Opera House at 8pm, 21st September, 2011.

After all that weeping rain of Hanoi’s August, it’s finally time to wind down a little.

A concert performed by Young Philharmonic Orchestra –the Vietnam National Academy of Music, conducted by Christoph Poppen will take place at Hanoi Opera House at 8pm, 21st September, 2011. The classical masterpieces of legendary  Wolfgang A. Mozart, Ludwig v. Beethoven and Felix Mendelssohn are warmly expected.

The event will begin with Ouvertüre “Die Zauberflöte” by Mozart. Afterwards, the orchestra will present to the audiences the works of Beethoven and Felix Mendelssohn respectively.

The Young Philharmonic Orchestra of the Vietnam National Academy of Music, under the direction of internationally prestigious conductors such as Nguyen Thieu Hoa, Claire Levacher (France), Peter Gülke (Germany) and Christian Schumann (Germany) has played in various concerts, from classical to modern ones at the Hanoi Opera House yearly.

Under the conduction of ChristophPoppen, a distinctive style professor of violin and chamber music at the Hochschulefür Musikund Theater in Munich, the Orchestra is promising a night full of vivid colors of music.
