University of Economy (Ho Chi Minh City) is one of the best economic universities in Vietnam and nearby countries like Laos or Cambodia. The reputation of this university has also crossed the border of Vietnam and South East Asia with a position on the list of top 1000 economic universities in the world (ranked by Eduniversal). This was founded in 1995 by integrating three present schools including former University of Economy (HCMC), former Financial Acounting of HCMC and Faculty of Economy at University of Ho Chi Minh City. From beginning day to today, University of Economy (Ho Chi Minh City) has been meliorated significantly and always deserved to be a key economic university in the South of Vietnam in particular and the entire Vietnam in general.

At present, this university is studying place of more than 50,000 students in different programs from undergraduate, postgraduate, non-formal and international cooperation which are concentrated on various aspects of economy from finance, entrepreneurship to public economy or auditing. In charging of teaching responsibility in University of Economy (Ho Chi Minh City) is brilliant lecturing team including 142 doctor, 213 masters and 37 professors or vice-professors.
