A good place to start is the National Child Hospitals based in Hanoi or Ho Chi Minh City. Most of them have a center where they keep and raise children who were abandoned at birth or by their parents due to financial incapacity. Most provinces, from Lang Son to Quang Nam to Ca Mau, also have provincial orphanages. You can contact Vietnam MOLISA for assistance with finding your adopted child.

Adoption matters in Australia are handled by individual states and territories. The government will be your best agency. You will need to contact the responsible authority in the state or territory where you reside for further information.   Please note that the amount of work spent on immigration process can be as stressful as one on the adoption itself.
