Dien Bien Phu Festival
The biggest event of Dien Bien, Dien Bien Phu Festival plays a very important role in the tourism development of the province.
The event is held every 2 years on May 7th, attracting people from not only inside but also outside of the country.
On the festival day, thousands domestic and international visitors come there to admire the most famous sites which remind people of the wondrous history of Dien Bien.The festival starts with a ceremony commemorating the Dien Bien Phu Battle in 1945. After that, many activities are organized to celebrate the festival, creating a cheerful and festival atmosphere.
