Located in central Sapa, Baguette and Chocolate Cafe and Hotel (B&C) is only 5 minutes from the town’s market and church. (B&C) includes one mini hotel with four French-style decorated rooms, and a café serving both Vietnamese and Western favorites, French bakery and drinks. The café itself is a project managed by a NGO to support disadvantaged and disabled tribal youth who are interested in tourism and hospitality training. Thus, the staff is extremely friendly and helpful although they may not speak English well.

 

B&C is regarded as the best place in town for enjoying breakfast at a very reasonable price (around VND 50000/person). For main meals, Vietnamese dishes and cheese lasagna are recommended, while strong coffee and cakes are offered in the afternoon or supper.  B&C has some of the most delicious Paris cakes and pastries with aromatic wild honey, including baguette and even vegetarian options. This little restaurant is the best choice in winter days, when you can try a tasty croissant with coffee and escape the foggy weather.

 

There is also another B&C café inside Museum of Ethnology in Hanoi, which is very impressive with spacious and lush design.
