Yxine Film Fest 2011 calling for submissions

The second Vietnam’s online short film festival called YxineFF will take place from September 30th to December 12th at www.yxineff.com.

YxineFF is a voluntary, non-profit and independent project which aims to introduce and showcase new short films to international audience. The first festival themed ‘Love” took place from May to December 2010 and attracted 120 entries.

This year, during the screening time, two to four new films will be screened per week and 54 best films from the selection of YxineFF 2010 will be also screened again. The jury board this year which includes director Bui Thac Chuyen, actress Hong Anh, cinematographer Nguyen Nam, producer Jenni Trang Le, blogger Truong Quy will assess the entries based on their “touching, creative and humane”. The award ceremony will be held in Ho Chi Minh city on December 12th, 2011.

YxineFF encourages filmmakers to submit their works by September 15th, 2011.
