Vietnam’s central coastal cities draw Russian tourists

After Nha Trang and Mui Ne, Da Nang, another city in the Central Coast of Vietnam is fast becoming a favorite holiday destination for Russian tourists. Data provided by the domestic Anh Duong Tourism Company and the Russian travel agency Pegas Touristik predicts that 36,000 Russian travelers will be visiting Da Nang from mid-March till the end of 2012.

 
Pegas Touristik has confirmed it will continue on taking Russian tourists to the charming coastal cities through this summer, instead of only operating till May 2012 as previously scheduled. 
 
Last winter, the Russian airline Oren Air has opened a new route from Krasnoyarsk to Cam Ranh, Khanh Hoa which enables Russians to leave the frigid winter for some sunshine in the tropics. The route operates till the end of April 2012, with frequency of one two-way flight per day.

The national carrier Vietnam Airline gives Russian tourists more choices with seven flights on Vietnam – Russia every week.
 
From the end of October 2011 till now, Cam Ranh International Airport (30 km far from Nha Trang City) has welcomed 25,000 Russian tourists.
