August starts with a staffering rain in both Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City. The storm Nockten had come and left, leaving Hanoi with the daylong rain. Meanwhile in the South, Ho Chi Minh City was in the middle of the rainy season, which quite explains the reason why it is so wet these days. The sun started coming up, actually, way up, in the middle of this week and now it is all over the place, in both city. Rains are still unavoidable, though more sun light is on for sure. Don't be fooled that this weather is ideal for sunbathing! The sun ray here in Vietnam may be equal to those in high-elevated countries such as Ecuador and Bolivia.
