Vietnam Airlines offering major summer discount

To offer an incentive to early summer travelers, on March 5^th 2012, Vietnam Airlines announces that it will offer as much as 50% off on some of its international and domestic routes.

One will have to purchase tickets between March 8^th to March 19^th for flight from April 1^st to May 31^st and also September 5^th to October 31^st. Exceptions include the Hung Kings festival occasion and season’s peak of April 30^th and May 1^st.

For domestic travelers, the promotion would mean Hanoi – Ho Chi Minh and from these two cities to either Hue or Da Nang cost as little as VND 777,000 one-way. It would be a major break for budget-constraint travelers who are weary of recent increase in price.

International flight would set one back from VND 1,025,000 to 10,410,000 for return tickets, taxes and other charges not included. Only destination in Europe, Asia and Australia are qualified for the discount.
