Opera Night back to Luna d’Autunno this February

After a long break for Christmas and Tet, An Evening of Opera at Luna d’Autunno is back with a special program entitled “An evening with Mozart” on Wednesday, February 22nd, 2012. For this time, the opera night will be no-smoking inside the restaurant.

The 15th monthly event features 10 extracts from the opera buffa “Cosi fan Tutte” by Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart, including Una donna a quindici anni (Soprano), Non Siete ritrosi (Baritone), Donna mie la fate (Tenor) among others. The opera keeps its assembly of renowned Vietnamese opera singers like Vanh Khuyen, Thang Long (soprano), Thanh Binh (Tenor), Manh Dung (Baritone), accompanied with familiar string quartet.

While opera remains unpopular in Vietnam, this monthly event brings to the public a great chance to enjoy this kind of academic performance in an informal and intimate setting.
