Miss Vietnamese Ethnics is a contest held by National Commission of Government and Company of International Advertising and Trade Fair – CIAT on a national scale. It is the only beauty contest which is on a national scale in 2011.
According to plan, the organizational board will begin to receive registrations and the preliminary contest will be held in Ho Chi Minh City in mid-October, 2011. The regional semi-finals will take place in Hanoi for North region and Ho Chi Minh City for South region during the first half of November with the traditional costumes, swimsuit and communication contests.
The final round will take place from November 26th to December 10th at Windsor Plaza Hotel in Ho Chi Minh City with talent contests such as jogging, flower arranging, singing, dancing, cooking, embroidery, knitting, weaving, Yoga, etc. In addition, the contestants will participate in cultural exchange activities, charity, environmental protection programs and activities with the theme of Ho Chi Minh Youth and Children as well as sightseeing spots and historical sites in Vietnam.The final night will be held at December 10th at Hoa Binh Theater.
This is an opportunity for representatives of ethnic women in the country to communicate, learn and exchange cultural and social knowledge with each other. Through the contest, Vietnamese and foreigners will understand the beauty of each individual culture as well as noble spirits and talents of the contestants representing the diversity ethnics of Vietnam. Besides, the contest is also an opportunity to showcase the country and people of Vietnam to the world and to promote the historic sites, beautiful landscape and unique culture of Vietnam.
