Ho Chi Minh City announces 100 Interesting Facts

The Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism in Ho Chi Minh City has recently announced the result of the ‘100 Interesting Facts’ election of this city.

The Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism in Ho Chi Minh City has recently announced the result of the ‘100 Interesting Facts’ election of this city.

This voting is conducted by the department and Ho Chi Minh City Tourism Association, with the participation of million travelers from both Vietnam and other countries all over the world. Being selected on this list are various interesting things of Ho Chi Minh City, including museums, historical and cultural sites, traditional markets, night entertainment venues, foods, sports and tourism events.

As planned, the organizing board of this election will make a short movie introducing these 100 facts, and that film will be presented on all flights of the national flag carriers Vietnam Airlines.

The project to find out “100 Interesting Facts of Ho Chi Minh City’ was launched at the beginning of year 2012, in which, 300 “things” were nominated, with only a hundred were chosen.
