Thibault Cauvin, dubbed as “The Ambassador of the new classical guitar” by critics and music lovers, will give two solo performances at 8:00 pm at IDECAF, No. 31 Thai Van Lung, District 1, Ho Chi Minh City on June 5 and L’Espace, No. 24 Trang Tien street, Hanoi on June 7.
At the tender age of 25, the Parisian artist is widely considered as one of the most talented, charismatic and demanded guitarists of the moment. At 20, he’s the only artist to have won 13 international first prizes. He is recognized for his creative efforts to reinterpret classical works and breathe new life into them. Cauvin presents a rich, intense and modern repertory.
IDECAF and L’Espace are two premier organizations based in Vietnam that aim to promote French language and culture around the world. They have hosted a wide variety of cultural programs including performance art, cinema and arts seminar.
Tickets for Thibault Cauvin concert will be sold at the performance venues and priced at VND100,000 per person. Students can get a special discount of 50%.
