Discounted Airfare on Vietnam - Australia route

Vietnam Airlines - the national airline of Vietnam - has released its latest deal this summer. The airline offers a very competitive rate for flights between Hanoi or Ho Chi Minh City and Sydney or Melbourne. The published rate, according to the website of Vietnam Airlines, is 555 US dollars for a round trip ticket, which is $200 lower than the previous sale. For business class, it is $1,555.    

This rate excludes taxes and surcharges, but with those added, the final price is still much lower than other alternatives on this route, which can sometimes be as high as $1000.    

The sale does not come without commitments, however. The maximum of stay is 1 month with no extension available. Sale price is valid from June 1 to June 30 of 2011 and flights must depart either in June, August or September of 2011. Other deals by Vietnam Airlines include return ticket to Kuala Lumpur and the latest route to Kaohsiung, at $120 and $385 respectively.
