David Archuleta To Take Stage in Vietnam July 22-24
The 21-year-old American pop singer and Idol runner-up David Archuleta's upcoming shows in Vietnam are probably the most heated topic for discussion among the youth and non-youth in Vietnam right now. Born in Miami and growing up in Utah, this young talent has numerous fans not only in the US, but also the world over, including Vietnam.
Archuleta will perform side by side with other Vietnamese famous pop artists from both the North and the South such as Ho Ngoc Ha, Tuan Hung, Dam Vinh Hung and Vietnam Idol Uyen Linh.
In recent years, more and more international singers, dancers and performers have picked Vietnam as their next destination. A country of almost 90 million people, half of whom are between 18-30, these music events are always warmly greeted. Just last month, David Cook and Thanh Bui has rocked Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City with their H-Artistry music nights and it is now David Archuleta's turn with the show "Idol Music Event 2011". This grand music event will take place in both Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City.
