Da Nang to implement tourism promotion plan for 2012

 

Main targets of Da Nang tourism in the next year are continuing to promote and introduce unique features of Da Nang tourism to crucial domestic markets such as Hanoi or Ho Chi Minh City, as well as other international markets such as Thailand, Russia, Singapore or the US. 

 

In order to achieve the objectives, tourism agencies in this city will organize more tourism events such as roadshow, fair or festivals, in addition to activities like installing more tourism information machine on the streets or publishing tourism editions in different languages. 

 

 

IT is estimated that international tourists to Danang is about 500,000 people in 2011

 

Moreover, the city will facilitate tourism researchers from other countries to come and examine the tourism potential of Da Nang, and open more direct flights from Da Nang to various destinations.

 

Da Nang is considered one of the most attractive tourism destinations in the middle of Vietnam which draws more than 2 millions of visitors each year, including many international travelers from different areas in the world. In spite of being impacted from global economic crisis in 2011, tourism industry in this city has continued to develop sustainably and contribute significantly to the melioration of national economy.
