Cat Ba archipelago is titled national heritage

The Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism has entitled Cat Ba archipelago National Heritage status.

The Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism has entitled Cat Ba archipelago National Heritage status. This title comes at time Haiphong Town is preparing for next year’s National Tourism Year of Haiphong and Red River Delta. Haiphong is submitting to UNESCO for recognition of Cat Ba Island as World Natural Heritage.

The title is considered a great recognition of the nation to this charming island and also an emphasis of tourism department on preserving nature value of the whole country.

Cat Ba archipelago consists of more than 300 islands, attracting tourists thanks to its magnificent landscapes as well as high biological value and diverse cuisine culture.
