A photo exhibition themed Ancient Saigon is being organized in Cosmo Café, No. 86 bis Le Thanh Ton, District 1, Ho Chi Minh city.

The open space in the Café’s garden, which is located in the back of Fine Arts Museum, is exhibition ground for 70 unique photos of ancient Saigon. These photos are taken in journalistic style by various authors and reflect Saigon daily life in the past in a lively, faithfully and wholly way. Photos of street vendors, a pavement café outside a French-style hotel, a mobile beer-selling vehicle, costumes of Southern women, among others, help visitors relive the daily life of Saigonese in the early 20th century.

Travelers in Ho Chi Minh City during August should stop by Cosmo Café to contemplate the change in the life of the "Far East Pearl" thorough black and white photos, all the while enjoying a cup of coffee in a green and quiet space.

Exhibition opens from 7 a.m till 11 p.m daily, from August 9th to August 31th, 2011.
