26 countries to participate in Hue Festival 2012
According to latest information from Hue Festival 2012 organizers, there are 36 art troupes from 26 countries and territories having registered to participate in Hue Festival 2012, in which, 14 troupes coming from Europe and America, 11 from Asia and 1 from Australia.
According to latest information from Hue Festival 2012 organizers, there are 36 art troupes from 26 countries and territories having registered to participate in Hue Festival 2012, in which, 14 troupes coming from Europe and America, 11 from Asia and 1 from Australia.
The Republic of France,which remains the traditional and special partner of Hue Festival sends three troupes, including Smooth band (hip-hop, funk and jazz), Carabosse (fire performance), and Combo Box (street jazz) to the 2012 event.
Descendance, a group of artists considered representative of aboriginal people in Australia will bring to the festival both traditional and contemporary dance, a long with unique folk music using indigenous’ musical instrument like Didgeridoo.
To date, more than 300 media journalists have registered to report Hue Festival 2012, and 17 medias such as Vietnam Television (VTV), Voice of Vietnam (VOV), and Vietnam News Agency (VNA) are official information sponsors for the event.
