• Immigration Officer:

  Vui lòng cho tôi kiểm tra hộ chiếu (May I have your passport please) 

• Peter:

  Vâng, đây thưa anh (Yes, here it is) 

• Immigration Officer:

  Anh bay từ đâu tới? (Where did you just arrive from?).

• Peter:

  Tôi bay từ Hồng Kông tới. (I flew from Hong Kong)

• Immigration Officer:

  Anh tới Việt Nam lần này vì việc gì? (What is the purpose of your visit this time?)

• Peter:

  Tôi tới Việt Nam để du lịch. (I come to Vietnam for tourism purpose) 

• CONVERSATION 2: : Peter has just landed at Noi Bai Airport. He asks a male staff for direction to the exit door

• Peter:

  Anh ơi, làm ơn cho tôi hỏi cửa ra ở đâu (Excuse me, where is the exit door?)

• Staff:

  Anh đi thẳng, rồi rẽ phải là tới (Go straight ahead and then turn right, you will arrive).

• Peter:

  Cám ơn anh (Thanks)

• Staff:

  Không có gì (No problems)
