    In the celebration of National Day of Canada (July 1st), a Canadian Food Festival is planned to take place from June 30th to July 31st in Hanoi.
  • Guitar and Koto Duo to Cast a Spell on Vietnamese Audiences
    Aki & Kuniko, the acclaimed Japanese guitar and koto duo, will deliver a special performance on Sunday 8 July in Ho Chi Minh City and on Monday 9 & Tuesday 10 July in Hanoi.

    Ho Chi Minh City’s Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism will host an international tourism fair targeting foreign tourist companies at the Saigon Exhibition and Convention Centre from September 13 to 15.

    Information from Hue City reports that Cuisine Festival in central region is projected to be organized at Hue Sports Centre from June 28 to July 1 in response to the National Tourism Year of the North - Central - Hue 2012.
  • Francesco Tristano concert celebrating Luxembourg National Day
    According to the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism, Luxembourg classical and experimental pianist and composer Francesco Tristano will perform in Hanoi Opera House on 25 June to celebrate his native country’s National Day.
  • Ho Dynasty Citadel to officially become World Heritage
    A ceremony to grant the Ho Dynasty Citadel the status of World Cultural Heritage site will take place in the central province of Thanh Hoa on June 16.
  • Lecture on Vietnamese village’s customs at L’Espace
    A free lecture on the evolution of village’s customs will be presented by Dr. Bui Xuan Dinh from the Institute of Anthropology, a branch of Vietnam Academy of Social Sciences and Dr. Dinh Khac Thuan from the Sino-Vietnamese Institute at 6:00pm, 20 June at L’Espace (24 Trang Tien, Hoan Kiem, Hanoi).
  • Exhibition “Paris in a Glance” in Ho Chi Minh City
    A free photography exhibition themed “Paris in a Glance” will open from 14 to 22 June at IDECAF at 28 Le Thanh Ton Street, District 1, Ho Chi Minh City.
  • Pianist Roger Muraro to return to Hanoi
    Roger Muraro, the fourth prize winner of the Tchaikovsky Competition and other prestigious prizes in chamber music and piano, is set to dazzle Hanoi classical lovers again with his solo performance at Hanoi Opera House on 19 June 2012.
